Generally speaking, I prefer neutral nails… think white, gray, black, beige, nude, metallic gold, etc. However, as the seasons change, I love dark polishes in reds, browns, greens (I know, this one is a little harder to pull off!) or purples. Below is the color I’m sporting today, “La Moss” by Butter London. It can look darker in certain lighting, and more obviously red in others.
Butter London is great because it stays on very well (as long as you use a top coat), they have very modern colors, and there’s a ton of chemicals found in other nail polishes that you won’t find in theirs… Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, DBP, Toluene, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide, Xylene, and TPHP to be exact. While I’m not going to even pretend that I know anything about those extra long names, I do know that the closer to chemical-free that you can get while still having pigmented colors, the better!
