If a woodchuck could chuck WOOD, he would CERTAINLY fall for these pieces!

If a woodchuck could chuck WOOD, he would CERTAINLY fall for these pieces!

Let me start by apologizing for that ridiculous post title… I just couldn’t help myself….

Screen Shot 2017-11-03 at 1.36.47 PMOkay guys, look at my coffee table (pictured on the left!) Look! I’m obsessed.  Maybe it is because I’m from Washington but I love trees and seeing natural and/or reclaimed wood in the home… and I’m not the only one.  This trend is growing and should not be overlooked.

The best part about trends becoming popular is how reasonably the items are priced. My Wood Slice Coffee Table is from World Market and was originally $219.99 but I got it on sale for $179.99 (and it is currently on sale again!) Wood slice wall hangings and tables, distressed wood furniture and art pieces, and even natural wood coasters, bowls, and ornaments are just some of the ways you can add wood to your home in a classy way without seeming like your decor was inspired by a log cabin.

This is the same coffee table I have but remember that natural wood pieces will have variances in color and shape because they’re cut from real wood stumps.
