Having a busy little one — okay, and paying attention to my health — means that I don’t drink too frequently, but when I do I almost always reach for a glass of Meiomi Pinot Noir. In fact, it is so good that I’ll often forgo getting a glass of wine while we are out, just because I know I can enjoy one really satisfying glass at home. Costing around $22 per bottle, it is also reasonably priced… and should probably be snagged as part of your Valentine’s Day celebration should you be indulging in wine! 🙂 Did I mention it is a twist top?! What could be easier?
A couple of years ago I found Meiomi Pinot Noir and I truly feel like it is the smoothest red EVER. Through every move I’ve been lucky enough to find it at the local grocery stores in California, Arizona, and Washington. However, I just found out that through Meiomi’s website you can subscribe and save when purchasing 6 or more bottles… so, that’s something I will most definitely be looking into! We’ve introduced this wine to other wine lovers — including my aunt who doesn’t even like Pinot Noirs typically — and everyone comments on how easy it is to enjoy. My best friend, Kristin, had a glass — or three — the other night at my house and shared how she could even see drinking it in the summer heat because it is just strong enough but not too heavy. I couldn’t agree more… the flavor profile is perfect, not too dry and not too sweet. I also feel this way about Concannon Vineyard 2020 Reserve Pinot Noir Russian River but that one has to be purchased online unless you live in the Livermore area.
We are currently drinking Meiomi Vintage 2021 Pinot Noir but have also enjoyed a previous year. Buy it. Try it. And let me know what you think. I’m pretty sure you’ll want to keep a bottle or six on hand.
